Some people think that dangerous sports should be banned, but others think the people should have freedom to choose sports activities. Discuss both views and give your opinion.


Extreme sports are gaining popularity these years. Some people reckon that they should be made illegal because of the danger involved while some others think it is up to the individual themselves to decide as it is part of human rights to do so.

Concerns about the possible harm caused by extreme sports are not unfounded. First of all, extreme sports such as bungee, rock climbing and paragliding are all featured with peril and danger, which might cause many casualties, especially for those without proper equipments and training. It is not worth the risk of their life no matter how much thrill they can get from doing extreme sports. An accident happened in a bungee site in Tianjin Water Park may serve as a painful lesson.
