Task One

The table outlines the number of cars made in three countries (Argentina, Australia, and Thailand) from 2003 to 2009.

It is evident from the table that Thailand produced by far the largest number of cars over the six-year period, with a total of almost 3 million. Meanwhile, Australia produced the smallest number of vehicles, having a total of just under 1 million. Argentina came in a close second with a total of approximately 1.1 million cars produced.

Argentina had the lowest production total in 2003, but almost tripled its amount by 2006, and continued to grow to over 512 thousand by 2009. Thailand began with the highest production total in 2003 of around 742 thousand, and similarly saw a sharp increase by 2006. However, Thailand’s production numbers slipped to under 1 million by 2009, nevertheless maintaining its position as the producer of the most cars out of the three countries.
