Nowadays, both men and women work full-time. Therefore, they have to share household tasks equally. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In modern society, both male and female in a family are bread-winners of their families . Who shall be responsible for household chores, therefore, has become a hot topic . While some may consider that the household work should be reserved for women as an age-old tradition, I am convinced that husbands and wives should share their family responsibilities.

The greater role women are playing nowadays means the housework should not remain as their sole responsibility of them. Unlike our female predecessors, virtually every woman in the modern society now are actively taking up full time or part time jobs, playing an equally important role in the family and society. They feel the same stress as men do does in the workplace, and feel equally exhausted after a whole day’s strenuous and arduous work. If they still have to deal with the housework such as cooking, and washing dishes and clothes, the stress would be unbearable. It is only reasonable that men should share some of the housework with their wives. Moreover, men doing housework is a great way to show love and respect towards their other half, creating a loving atmosphere within the family. By washing dishes and mopping floor voluntarily after his partner havehas cooked for the family, a husband displays his love and care for his wife, and thus which will helpstrengthen their relationship and make family life happier.

Surely, those who hold that women should do more of the household chores have their reasons. Even though women go to work, the social and family expectations for them as bread-winners is less than that with men, and therefore, they are under less pressure at work. If such is the case, family responsibility should still be shouldered by them. This is not necessarily true as more and more women nowadays are highly educated and skilled personnel with higher social status and higher positions. It would be a waste of their time and talents if they spend too much time cooking in the kitchen.

In conclusion, men should share more of the family work as their wives are busier, and these men should do it to show their affection towards their wives and promote family harmony.

Hi, how are you?

This is a good piece. Again, fluently laid down words. Yet, there are a few errors in subject-verb agreement, which you ought to be careful with. This basic grammar requirements is something examiners are strict with, and they tend to deduct a lot of points if errors are related to it.

REVISED VERSION
The changes you find here are only grammatical and mechanical. Any change in content is for you to incorporate. Ideas set in bold (if any) are the ones that need to be improved, developed, or changed.

Tip for the day

Before submitting your paper, proofread it and check for the six common problems in writing.

The list of questions below is not all-inclusive, but it suggests some of the common problems that may arise in sentences. You should add to this list any additional problems that you typically encounter when you write.

Is the sentence complete?
• Is there a subject?
• Is there a verb?
• What if there's more than one verb?

Are any words missing, or are any words inadvertently repeated?
• Read the sentence out loud to help spot missing or extraneous words.
Is the sentence punctuated correctly?

Are verbs used correctly?
• Does each verb agree with its subject?
• Does the verb tense correctly express when the action takes place (past, present, future, etc.)?

Are pronouns used correctly?
• What noun phrase does the pronoun represent? How close together are they? Are there any other noun phrases in between the two?
• Do the pronoun and the noun it refers to agree? (Are they both plural or both singular?)

Is everything spelled correctly?
• Run a spell check.
• Remember to check for commonly confused words that computer spell-checkers miss (it/it's, their/there, etc.). Also, keep in mind that computers often don't "know" technical terms and recently invented words, so you'll have to check those yourself.
